Networking with Colleges, Universities & Law Schools

Dissemination of information and continuing education is key to increasing the discourse on issues of girls in the juvenile and child welfare systems. NCCD provides opportunities for interested students to become part of local advocacy efforts through volunteerism or through their professional careers.

The Center will partner with colleges to mobilize students and equip the next generation of juvenile justice and child welfare administrators and staff who will work with girls with information and tools. Seminars, coursework, and pilot projects are planned to involve undergraduate, graduate, and law school students.
